Please read carefully. These Terms include an agreement to resolve disputes by binding individual arbitration and a waiver of class actions.

We provide self-help document preparation software for uncontested divorce filings in the State of Texas. Our service takes information you provide and populates official court forms. You file the completed documents with the appropriate court yourself.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old, legally capable of entering into a binding contract, and a resident of the State of Texas to use this service. You must complete our eligibility screener honestly and accurately. We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone whose situation falls outside the scope of our software.

4. Your responsibilities

  • Provide accurate, complete, and truthful information.
  • Review every document we prepare before signing or filing.
  • File the documents with the appropriate court yourself.
  • Pay any court filing fees, notary fees, or other costs imposed by third parties.
  • Keep your account credentials secure.

5. Fees and payment

The current price for our service is shown on the Pricing page. The fee is a one-time charge. There are no subscriptions, no recurring billing, and no hidden charges. Payment is processed by Stripe, Inc. and is subject to Stripe's terms.

Court filing fees are paid directly to the court and are not included in our fee.

6. Refunds

Our refund terms are described in our Refund Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

7. Intellectual property

The website, software, content, and templates are owned by the Company and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the service for the sole purpose of preparing your own legal documents for your personal use. The official court forms themselves are public documents published by the State of Texas.

8. Prohibited use

You agree not to:

  • Use the service for anyone other than yourself.
  • Use the service to provide legal services or document preparation services to others.
  • Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code.
  • Scrape, mirror, or republish our content.
  • Use the service in violation of any applicable law.
  • Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information.

9. Privacy

Our handling of your personal information is described in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

10. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The service is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranty of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or accuracy.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Company's total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of the service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim. In no event shall the Company be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, loss of data, or loss of goodwill.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Company, its officers, employees, contractors, and affiliates from any claim, demand, loss, damage, cost, or expense (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or related to: (a) your use of the service; (b) your violation of these Terms; (c) the accuracy of the information you provide; or (d) your filing of, or failure to file, any documents prepared through the service.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. The substantive consumer relationship between you and us is governed by Texas law.

13. Dispute resolution — binding arbitration

Any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of the service shall be resolved by binding individual arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association (AAA) under its Consumer Arbitration Rules. The seat of arbitration shall be Harris County, Texas. Judgment on the award rendered by the arbitrator may be entered in any court of competent jurisdiction.

Class action waiver. You and the Company agree that any arbitration or proceeding shall be limited to the dispute between you and the Company individually. To the fullest extent permitted by law, no arbitration or proceeding shall be joined with any other, and there is no right or authority for any dispute to be arbitrated on a class-action basis.

You may opt out of this arbitration agreement within thirty (30) days of first agreeing to these Terms by sending written notice to the email address in the Contact section.

14. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the service at any time, with or without notice, for any conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, the Company, or third parties. Upon termination, sections of these Terms that by their nature should survive will survive.

15. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by posting the updated Terms on this page with a new "Last updated" date. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
